Have you ever wondered how you can still feel the sun’s warmth on a cold day? It is the sun’s infrared rays that provide that warmth. Infrared heat warms the objects underneath it rather than the air. Infrared panels work in the same way. With infrared heating panels, your clients, their mats and the floor will be gently warmed by the panels in your studio.
Unlike traditional heating methods such as forced air heaters, baseboard or wall heaters, which use additional energy to circulate air to warm the room, infrared heating panels gently increase the ambient temperature of the room.
Our infrared heaters offer significant advantages over traditional heating methods:
The radiant heat produced by infrared heaters has a higher flux than traditional heating methods. “Flux” is a technical measurement of the rate of flow of a property per unit area—or in this case, the rate of flow of radiant heat compared to the volume of your room. The higher flux of radiant heat allows infrared heating systems to operate in an energy efficient and cost-effective manner.
Instead of heating circulating air like conventional heating methods, our infrared heating systems increase the surface temperature of objects in the room, creating a 360 degree radiator for your space.
Since solid objects maintain their heat longer than air, objects like a door that is constantly opening and closing will not drastically affect the temperature of the space. Similarly, turning off the heater will not cause a dramatic drop in temperature, as the objects in the room will retain heat.
